Since 2005, Joy/Disaster creates a powerful, melodic and modern Post-Punk that combines innovative arrangements, letting powerful guitars interact with a melodic and textural voice. Influenced by many musical genres, each studio album has its own personality, however the last one, “Resurrection”, brings the band back to darker atmospheres sometimes reminiscent of Nick Cave or David Bowie.
Silent Runners (NL)
Mixing dark synths and electronics with Post-Punk influences, Silent Runners (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) made a name for themselves on stage with energetic shows that are both compelling and strangely hypnotizing. Minimalist guitars, deep bass riffs and steady drum beats, going from an almost krautrock-like drive to all out bombastic. All topped with classic synths and a powerful voice, soaked in reverb.
Following their self-titled 6-track Silent Runners EP in 2015, the band released their debut album The Directory in December 2017.
Iamtheshadow is a musical project which was founded in 2015 by the Portuguese musician Pedro Code (The Dream Collision and Rainy Days Factory). The artistic influences of Iamtheshadow are varied and navigate the blackest and sharpest sounds of the 80s. Iamtheshadow is modern dark romance, where melody and words touch deeply perpetuating the desire that crosses and overcomes fear .
Antipole is Karl Morten Dahl from Norway. Antipole makes elegant Cold Wave / Post-Punk music. Guitar-based tracks driven by a linear rhythm, inspired by the beauty of nature as well as the everlasting presence of mixed feelings while living our lives. The music is like sketches, gust, a puff of wind. An instant expression, a journey into the intersection of the lightest light and the darkest dark. A melodic-hypnotic sphere, only reached by the ones who feel the multifaceted shades of life. So fragile, but yet so strong.
Crying Vessel (CH)
Crying Vessel started out as a solo project from Slade Templeton in 2010, who supported with live drummer Basil Oberli starting 2016, began making 'waves' in the Post-Punk and Darkwave/Goth scenes. Since 2018, Crying Vessel has become a duo with Slade and Basil working together both on and off stage. They are widely celebrated in the Post-Punk, Gothic and Wave music crowds as a leading act with the scenes revival. The next album release is planned for 2019.
